ERT Training

ERT Training

UMCOR ERT Training will be offered on Saturday, January 25 at Sand Springs UMC and Saturday, February 22 at Okmulgee FUMC. Both are led by Tim McHugh, Oklahoma Conference Disaster Coordinator, who is a certified United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR) ERT Trainer. This Early Response Team training will allow you to become an UMCOR-certified member of an Oklahoma United Methodist ERT in just one training day. You will learn what you can do as a volunteer and as a church; the role of an Early Response Team before, during and after a disaster, and the role of the Methodist in times of disaster.
