On Sunday, December 22, we will host a “Blue Christmas” community worship service at 6:00 pm. Pastors from several community churches will lead this service. A Blue Christmas worship setting is reflective, accepting where we really are, and holding out healing and hope. The service is held on the longest night of the year, the Winter Solstice.
Blue Christmas has been part of the Bartlesville community for several years, supported through the combined ministries of the Bartlesville Ministerial Association. It has been hosted previously at Oak Park UMC and East Cross UMC. We hope that you will encourage neighbors and friends who might be seeking a service that is reflective to attend.
